I stumbled upon this brand at Indie Beauty Expo Dallas this past May, pulled in by their gorgeous packaging. Upon inspection, I started getting excited about unique formulations, which doesn’t actually happen often in our increasingly saturated space. The ingredients were stellar and as I spoke with founder Carolyn McRory – I was smitten. She’s extremely versed in plant actives (she should be, she’s an herbalist!) and as passionate as they come. I’ve only known the likes of this kind of wisdom and ingredient pairing with a handful of brands, so I fully expected the price point to match the level I’m familiar with – but I was blown away at how approachable and accessible this brand is. I knew I needed some of the items, could they be as effective as they were smart and beautiful?

Long story and infatuation short – they are. I first came away with the Luna Vitamin C mist, then the Moon Cycle Cream and over the last few months I’ve continually added products not only to my collection, but to my daily active routine. I’ll go over some of my favorites below (and to be honest, I haven’t met a product I didn’t like, but I don’t want to overload you) and if you’re thinking about switching to more natural skincare, this is a great entry level line that is not only of the highest quality with unique formulations, but won’t break the bank either!

Luna Vitamin C Hydration Mist

Screen Shot 2017-11-17 at 11.24.36 AMI’m a huge fan of anything Vitamin C, because as someone who suffers from hyper pigmentation, I’ve seen the wonders it can work along with it’s ability to protect against environmental aggressors. This mist blends organic, naturally occurring vitamin C botanicals with rose-hip and sea buckthorn berry for a marriage of fatty acids, anti-inflammatories and antioxidants. Its soothing, smoothing and brightening. I start my day by spritzing all over generously, it helps lock in moisture and provides a protective base for my SPF.

Luna Moisturizing Facial Cleanser

Screen Shot 2017-11-17 at 11.29.25 AMYou all know I’m obsessed with dry oil cleansing, but sometimes when I hop in the shower I want to wash my face. Never a fan of lathery, stripping cleansers this is the perfect answer to my need to wash. This formulation is extremely nourishing for the skin, infusing it with vitamins, soothing inflammation and helping beef up your moisture barrier while yet lifting dirt and pore-clogging gunk. I love to use mine with Wyld Konjac Sponges, but a delicate wash cloth or even your hands would be just fine. It leaves my skin so silky and refreshed!

Luna Glowing Cleansing Mask

Screen Shot 2017-11-17 at 11.33.37 AMThis stuff is so good you could eat it, y’all – seriously! A divine way to start or end your day, I slater this on clean skin and let the whole herbs, botanical extracts and fruit enzymes blended with raw honey refine my skin while I sip my matcha or evening tea. Upon massaging off with warm water my skin is dewy, glowing and moisturized. You can use this as your cleanser, but I prefer mask-style to let the humectants of the honey balance my hydration and the mild natural acids remove any dead-skin buildup. It’s really just such a gorgeous product that everyone will love!

Moon Cycle Cream

Screen Shot 2017-11-17 at 11.37.40 AMUgh. Sometimes being a female can be a pain, and you know exactly what I’m talking about. Searching for a clean product for monthly cycle relief has been a process – until now. This concentrated cream can be massaged into any area (belly, back, breast, etc) that is causing you pain. The combination of Arnica, Clary Sage and Goldenrod help increase circulation, calm anxiety and inflammation and sooth cramps and the mild scent simply puts your mind at ease (not that I’m ever irritable or anything). You can even rub it on your pulse points and inhale deeply for a quick attitude adjustment :) Really handy to carry around with you when you need a little extra relief!

Stay tuned for whats sure to be more on this incredible brand!
